Honoring Kyle Minnis/Easterseals Strides for Disability Fundraiser
Most of you know Kyle Minnis. He grew up next door to me in Santa Ana. Kyle was born with cerebral palsy, and utilized the services of Easterseals as a kid. In fact Kyle was the Easterseals Child Ambassador back in the 1970's. I am participating in the 2018 Easterseals Strides for Disability 5K walk/run and 3K family fun walk at Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach on Saturday, October 20 in honor of Kyle.
Kyle is a truly a pioneer when it comes to advocating for those with disabilities. Similarly, Easterseals Southern California is the leading non-profit organization providing services for children and adults living with disabilities providing services for more than 10,000 people each day in more than 65 program sites and centers throughout Southern California. These important services ensure that people with disabilities – and their families – have equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
Please consider making a gift to support my efforts and this great cause. All net proceeds will directly benefit people with disabilities. I will be personally matching your donations, and my employer will match my donation. Your generous gift is tripled! All donations big and small are greatly appreciated. The impact these dollars have on Easterseals' clients and services each and every day is immeasurable.
Thank you so much for supporting Easterseals!
P.S. Kyle will be honored later this year with the unveiling of the Kyle Minnis Therapy Room at the Easterseals headquarters in Irvine. Stay tuned for an invitation to the unveiling!
