Honoring Kyle Minnis & Remembering Jackson Ramseur/Easterseals Strides for Disability Fundraiser
I am participating in the 2019 Easterseals Strides for Disability 5K walk/run and 3K family fun walk at Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach on Saturday, October 19. Easterseals is the leading non-profit organization providing services for children and adults living with disabilities. These important services ensure that people with disabilities – and their families – have equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
Last year I participated to honor Kyle Minnis - my lifelong neighbor who was born with cerebral palsy, and utilized the services of Easterseals as a kid. Kyle continues to be a tireless advocate for those with disabilities and is an inspiration to all who know him. In addition to honoring Kyle, this year I will be walking in memory of Jackson Ramseur who passed away at the age of 20 in 2013. Jackson is the son of my college roommate and was an incredible blessing to all who met him. Both Kyle and Jackson represented Easterseals as their Child Ambassador.
Please consider making a gift to support my efforts and this great cause. All net proceeds will directly benefit people with disabilities. I will be personally matching your donations, and my employer will match my donation. Your generous gift is tripled! All donations big and small are greatly appreciated. The impact these dollars have on Easterseals' clients and services each and every day is immeasurable.
Thank you so much for supporting Easterseals!
