I am participating in the 2018 Strides for Disability 5K walk/run and 3K family fun walk at Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach on Saturday, October 20. This unifying and spirited event brings together a diverse group of people – with and without disabilities – to break down barriers and show what’s possible with the right access, opportunities and supports. 

Together, we celebrate the strides we’re taking to change the way the world defines and views disability while making positive, meaningful differences in people’s lives. I hope you will join me as we walk, run, roll and stroll to celebrate diversity.

Easterseals Southern California is the leading non-profit organization providing services for children and adults living with disabilities providing services for more than 10,000 people each day in more than 65 program sites and centers throughout Southern California. These important services ensure that people with disabilities – and their families – have equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
