Easterseals Disability Arts & Culture Awards (The DARCYS) Premiere on PBS Socal Plus

The inaugural Easterseals Disability Arts & Culture Awards (The DARCYS), co-produced by Easterseals Southern California and Film Independent, will premiere on PBS SoCal Plus Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. PT and air again Friday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. PT. The program will also be available on the free PBS app, with nationwide public television distribution beginning Dec. 1 (check local listings).

Hosted by comedian Tina Friml, the inaugural ceremony celebrated outstanding achievements in disability representation across film, television and entertainment. The evening featured acceptance speeches from The Pitt cast member Tal Anderson, Legacy Award recipient Geri Jewell and Daniel Monks, who was recognized for his performance in All Her Fault, alongside other celebrated artists.
