Jennie Myhra, M.A., BCBA, is Sr. Vice President of Clinical Services for Autism Therapy Services for Easterseals Southern California (ESSC). In that capacity, she is responsible for the overall clinical strategy and oversight of all clinical departments within Autism Services.
Myhra has extensive experience in creating and supervising behavioral treatment programs for young children and adolescents in intensive ABA programs in school and home environments.
Myhra joined ESSC in 2017 as Director of Contracts, Compliance and Strategic Initiatives, after co-developing an agency which provided in-home ABA services to children diagnosed with autism and their families in San Diego. She transitioned to Regional Vice President, Autism Services, in 2018; to Vice President, Behavioral Services in 2021; and to her current role in 2026.
With more than 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Developmental Disabilities (DD), Myhra was previously a teacher in the San Diego Unified School District working with middle school students diagnosed with moderate/severe disabilities.
Additionally, she supervised student teachers and M.A. candidates in the special education credential and autism programs at San Diego State University (SDSU). As a senior research associate at SDSU, she also worked on implementation research related to training special education teachers to use Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching (CPRT) in San Diego and Orange counties. While there, she assisted the Center on Secondary Education for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (CSESA) on a longitudinal study.
Myhra possesses a master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in autism from SDSU and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in I/O psychology.
