Zan Calhoun joined Easterseals Southern California (ESSC) as Chief Information Officer in 2020. In that capacity, he oversees the organization’s day-to-day technology management and planning; and oversees activities surrounding artificial intelligence.
Prior to joining ESSC, Calhoun spent three years as the Chief Technology Officer for agilon health, a private, equity-backed nationwide physician services organization specializing in value-based care and Medicare Advantage.
Before agilon health, Calhoun spent 12 years as years as CIO of HealthCare Partners Medical Group; eight years as a partner in Ernst & Young’s IT consulting group; and helmed his own firm, First Consulting Group, for 11 years, supporting more than 100 clients in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
Calhoun graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in finance and went on to earn his MBA from the school. He also earned California certification as a CPA.
