We look forward to welcoming you to The DARCYS for an unforgettable celebration of authentic disability representation and inclusive storytelling. Use this guide to prepare for the event, including arrival information, the day’s schedule, parking, attire and nearby accommodations.
Broadcasting Information
Easterseals Disability Arts & Culture Awards will premiere on PBS SoCal Plus Tuesday, November 17 at 7:30pm, and will repeat on PBS SoCal Friday, November 20 at 8pm.
The program will also be available to watch on the free PBS app, and will be distributed to public television stations across the country starting December 1 (check local listings).

Event Schedule
12:00 pm: Doors open for a pre-show reception, networking and photo opportunities.
2:30 pm: Bars and food stations will close as guests are escorted to their seats for the program
3:00 pm: Awards Show begins
Dining Experience
The pre-reception will provide a selection of individual charcuterie bites and tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, including gluten-free and vegetarian offerings. During the awards ceremony, individually plated gluten-free desserts will be presented to guests at their seat.
Attire
Dress to impress. Guests are encouraged to celebrate the occasion in attire that makes them feel confident and ready for this special event.
Parking and Arrival Information
Please follow signs for Valet, Self-Park, and Rideshare upon arrival.
Valet Parking
Valet parking is available by request and is limited. Guests approved for valet will receive a separate digital valet pass with their confirmation email. Please have the pass visible on your phone for the parking attendants as you enter.
Self-Parking
Guest without a valet pass will be directed to the self-parking lot, which is adjacent to the venue.
Rideshare
For guests arriving via Lyft or Uber, please follow the parking signage for Valet/Self-Parking/Rideshare. Parking attendants will direct you to the designated rideshare drop-off location.
- Waymo: Due to the venue's location, Waymo vehicles have limited access and will not be able to enter the Valet/Self-Parking/Rideshare lanes. Guests arriving by Waymo should plan for an alternate drop-off location and possible delays and longer distance to access the event.
Accessible Parking
Guests who require accessible parking should display a valid disability parking placard or license plate upon arrival. Parking attendants will direct guests to designated accessible parking spaces. If you would like to request accessible parking, please let us know in advance so we can help make your arrival as smooth and seamless as possible.
Will Call and Check-In
After parking, please proceed to the Will Call tables and check in under your last name. Once you checked in, you will receive your table number and be directed to the Pre-Reception. Please note that Will Call closes promptly at 2:30 p.m.
Directions
From Downtown Los Angeles: Take I-10 West toward Santa Monica. Take Exit 2B for Bundy Drive and merge onto S. Bundy Drive. Turn right onto Airport Avenue. The Barker Hangar will be on your right at 3021 Airport Avenue. Continue to the stop sign and turn Right onto Donald Douglas Loop
From San Fernando Valley: Take I-405 South toward Long Beach and merge onto I-10 West toward Santa Monica. Take Exit 2B for Bundy Drive and merge onto S. Bundy Drive. Turn right onto Airport Avenue. Continue to the stop sign and turn Right onto Donald Douglas Loop.
From Orange County: Take I-405 North toward Los Angeles/Santa Monica. Continue north and merge onto I-10 West (Santa Monica Freeway). Take Exit 2B for Bundy Drive and merge onto S. Bundy Drive. Turn right onto Airport Avenue. Continue to the stop sign and turn Right onto Donald Douglas Loop.

Easterseals Sensory Space
An Easterseals Sensory Space will be available at the show, which offers a calm welcoming environment for guests that need support. Guests can expect: flexible seating options, calming lights/visual feature, sensory tools and fidget, weighted lap pads and aromatherapy support.
