Social Skills Group Program
Helping Kids Build Confidence and Connection
Our Group Social Skills Program starts with a simple check of how each participant talks and interacts with others. This helps us understand what they need and create a plan just for them that lasts about six months.
What We Focus On
We use evidence-based, proven methods to help participants:
- Work well in groups
- Understand how others feel
- Use the right words in social situations
Weekly Group Sessions
Participants join one or two group sessions each week, each lasting 90 minutes. The number of sessions depends on what we learn during the first check.
- Small group sizes: 4 to 12 participants
- Supportive environment: 1 adult for every 4 participants
- Goal: Be ready to move on from the group in about a year
Support for Caregivers
While participants are in their sessions, we also offer a caregiver group. This group teaches parents and guardians how to help their child practice social skills at home and in everyday life.
