How To Access Services
Easterseals Southern California helps people of all ages with disabilities live more independent and fulfilling lives. We offer many services for children, adults, and seniors, and we support families.
Most of our services start with a referral from a regional center, medical provider or health insurance provider. Some services can also be secured directly.
If you’re not sure where to start, our Customer Success team can help guide you to the right place
What is a Regional Center?
The Regional Center system is unique to California. It is made up of 21 community-based, non-profit agencies statewide that provide lifelong services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Regional Centers contract with the State of California through the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to help:
- Check if someone qualifies for services
- Create a personal plan for care
- Connect people to the right service or program
- Make sure everything runs smoothly

Available Services
We provide services in many areas, including:
We offer therapies like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech, occupational, speech and language, and physical therapy. These services are usually available through referrals from doctors or health insurance providers like Kaiser Permanente. Some services are also available for private pay. Our team works closely with families to set goals and create personalized treatment plans.
Our Child Development Centers help kids from birth to age five get ready for school. We offer programs like Head Start, Early Head Start, day care, nutrition services, and family support. These centers are located in San Bernardino, North San Diego County, and Ventura.
We offer day programs for older adults in Brea and Redondo Beach. These programs help seniors stay active and connected while giving caregivers time to work or rest. Services are available for a fee and include activities, meals, and support in a safe environment.
We help adults with disabilities build life skills, find jobs, and get involved in their communities, both in person and virtually. Services include peer-to-peer social groups, person-centered planning, and employment support through our WorkFirst Employment program.
We provide safe and supportive living environments in local communities for people with disabilities. These services are usually arranged through local regional centers.
Easterseals Camp provides fun activities, support, and community for individuals with disabilities in an accessible setting.
